Step right up here and meet this pretty girl!

This is Rosa Bella, a 3 1/2 year-old Pitbull from Pittsburgh, PA and she’s a survivor!

Rosa was found in an abandoned house and after 9 long months at the Capital Area Humane Society in Columbus, OH, finally found her forever home with her mom Emily!

After some shabby treatment, this girl still  loves people and giving kisses, even to the mailman! Rosa’s favorite foods are broccoli and bananas.

Rosa Bella, we think  you’re beautiful inside and out, and that’s why YOU are our TOP DOG OF THE DAY!  Congratulations!

Top Dog Of The Day! Meet Layla and Olive!

Wow! Not one, but TWO bona-fido Georgia peaches!

Meet Layla and Olive, who live in Atlanta, Georgia with their owner, Liz, but are on their way to Manhattan Beach, CA!

Layla, rescued in 2005, is a Boxer and PitBull mix and is the “diva” of the two pups. She’s serious and a guardian, but loves to pose for photos, nap in the sun and chase squirrels!

Olive was rescued by Liz in 2007 and is a Great Dane, PitBull and a ? breed mix. Liz describes Olive as “ScoobyDoo meets Curious George” and is the silly one in the family! Olive loves to consume toys, obsesses over balls, walk on people’s toes, lick stuff and chase squirrels with her sister; but cuddles on people’s laps! Now, that’s what I’d call a LAPFULL!

The two pooches swim like fish, their mom says and love to play fetch! They’re going to love living at the beach in CA!!

You two girls are just gorgeous, yes you ARE! And that’s why YOU BOTH are our TOP DOGS OF THE DAY! Congratulations!

Top Dog of the Day! Meet Rollin!

Ohhhhh….you just HAVE to see this little guy!

Meet Rollin; a  1 1/2 year old Yorkie Mix rescue who lives in the beautiful Napa Valley!

His Mom says she went to the shelter hoping to get a Scotty dog to keep her Golden Retriever who’d just lost his other companion and was grieving, company. The dog they told her was a Scotty turned out to be a long-haired chihuahua and she was going to take her, but says “something kept telling me to go out to the kennels and see what they have out there”.

Once she got out there, she said all the other dogs were barking and she says “this little guy was just looking up at me with his eyes that went one way and another (the opposite of cross-eyed; is that called “wall-eyed”?). And the rest is history~!

Rollin lives now with his buddy Golden; is always happy and bounces through the house and runs like the wind. He’s not fond of his owner’s kitty cat and chases it but otherwise he’s just a happy-go-lucky little guy.

His owner says Rollin is a joy to own and makes her laugh daily with his happy attitude and keeps his brother occupied chasing him down the hallway!

Well, Rollin, we think you’re pretty darned special and not only did you find a great home filled with lots of love, YOU are our TOP DOG OF THE DAY!  Congratulations!

    Awww, check this puppy out!

Dobler Leonidas is a 7 month old Pomeranian/Poodle/Heeler mix pup who hails from Chicago, Illinois. He gets his distinguished name from a John Cusak character in the movie “Say Anything” Lloyd Dobler; and Gerard Butler’s character in the movie “300″, King Leonidas!

With a pedigree like that, no wonder he’s wearing shades!

Mom Dawn says that Dobler Leonidas is real Mama’s boy and is very loving. His favorite things are being held and giving kisses!

Dobler Leonidas, you’re a star in our eyes; yes you are! And YOU are our TOP DOG OF THE DAY! Congratulations!

Molly Matilda, you are a super-cutie patootie, yes you are! And that’s why YOU are our Top Dog of the Day! Congratulations!
