Michael Vick: Suspected of Dog Fighting

Michael Vick, quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons is suspected of dog fighting. No charges have been made against Vick as of yet — even after authorities raided a home owned by the multi-millionaire pivot where they found 66 dogs — most of which were pit bulls — a dog-fighting pit and blood-stained carpets. Talk about evidence.
This is damning evidence (see, I said evidence!) pointing to the ugliness that is the disgusting pastime of dogfighting.
The subject of Vick and the allegations against him have never been as “informative” as this weekend when ESPN aired “Outside the Lines.”
The investigative report featured a man who’s seen Vick in action at the pit with his own eyes.
Calling him a “very reliable source,” with the source in shadow and voice disguised, he sang like a bird, sharing all the details of how Vick has been staging and betting on dogfights for the better part of a decade, adding that he knows because, “I’ve seen it with my own eyes.”
While Vick’s agent, Joel Segal, has been mum on the subject, the same can’t be said for Vick’s buddy from the Washington Redskins, Clinton Portis.
“I don’t know if he was fighting dogs or not,” Portis said. “But it’s his property; it’s his dogs. If that’s what he wants to do, do it. Dog fighting is a prevalent part of life.”
Huh? Is he kidding or just stupid?
If Rick Tocchet has gone through a year of hell for running a gambling ring –we are about to see if Vick’s celebrity will garner him special treatment as the evidence begins to, ahem, dog-pile on the superstar.

Rumor: Kyra and Kevin’s Eye Popping Moment

Kevin Bacon and his wife, The Closer star Kyra Sedgwick decided to get rid of a dog they adopted years ago because one of its eyes popped out of its socket.
The screen stars were initially intrigued by the four-legged addition to their family, but they quickly decided to give it another home after a bizarre incident occurred while Kevin was walking the pooch.
Sedgwick says, “We didn’t keep the dog for very long, but he was a cute dog. He was a rescue… It was one of these little dogs. It was like a Lhasa Apso, or something, with these eyes that bulge out.
“Sweet dog, but one day a big dog barked at it and one of its eyes actually popped out. And Kevin said, ‘Oh my God! The dog’s eye popped out! Kyra! The dog’s eye popped out!’ He gets scared with a lot about things like that. They gross him out.
“It was funny. I pushed it back in and it was fine. I don’t know what you’re supposed to do… (The dog) just looked confused. So I popped it back in. All was well.
“We found a good home for the dog though, ’cause Kev’s not really a small dog kinda guy. More big dog. So we have another dog now. He’s really great, he’s another rescue.”

American Pie Actress Faces Dog Sex Charges

American Pie actress, Natasha Lyonne, has turned herself into the authorities after an arrest warrant was issued over dog sex allegations.
Lyonne, 27, handed herself into a New York court yesterday to face charges she threatened to sexually molest a neighbours dog, as well as other charges including criminal mischief, harassment and trespass following an argument two years ago.
However, Manhattan Criminal Court’s Judge Anthony Ferrara said the star – who has also appeared in Blade and Scary Movie 2 – will have the charges dropped if she is law-abiding for the next six months after hearing she has sought treatment for a drug problem.
