Samantha Mathis, who you might remember from the movie, Broken Arrow, plays a woman who’s granted a new lease on life thanks to a heart transplant in the Hallmark Channel movie A Stranger’s Heart but she revealed to In Touch that is was rescuing her Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, Frankie, that makes her feel alive.
She rescued Frankie five-and-a-half years ago, the day before she was going to be put down. Her name at the time was Fortune but Samantha says:
I knew that name had to go because she was my fortune.”
