Paris Hilton’s love for dogs may just have landed her a new gig to star in another reality show based on pet grooming.

The 27-year old has reportedly signed a deal with Britain’s Living TV channel to broadcast the show, Paris’ Pooches, which will be filmed at a dog’s beauty parlor on London’s Bond Street.

A source told the Sunday Star:

The shop is perfect for Paris. It’s a subject she’s passionate about and it’s a way for her to break into UK TV. Watching Paris act out her Los Angeles lifestyle, in which tiaras for Chihuahuas are of real importance, should be very entertaining and she will no doubt be hitting the clubs and parties over here in the same way she does back home.”

Update: E! Online confirmed this is a rumor after all by contacting the network. The network heard of no such show in the works.

The National Enquirer is reporting that Chad Lowe saved a dog who was tired and worn out on in Malibu on March 2nd.

He came out of the surf, according to a witness, and saw a distraught woman over a distressed dog. Apparently the woman had walked the dog for a mile down the rocky coastline and the dog couldn’t handle it, was exhausted and dehydrated and started drinking water from the ocean.

He urged other guys nearby to help and put the dog, a German Shepherd mix onto his board and carried the dog to the woman’s car so she could take it to the vet.

We’re not buying too much of this story for two reasons, number one, it’s from the Globe and two, they mention that Jessica Biel has two dogs in the story. Tina, which yes, is her dog and East, a German Shepherd. East, as we know it was her pit bull, we’ve never gotten confirmation on the shepherd’s name but we know it belongs to a friend of hers.

As the story goes, Jessica moved in with Justin in December and loves to sleep with her dogs every night but Justin prefers the dogs not sleeping with them because it interferes with their love life. To compromise, he gave the dogs free reign of the house, just not the bedroom.

No mention in the article about what Justin’s dogs think of their new roommates.

American Idol judge Simon Cowell is threatening to leave his multi-million dollar fortune to his pet dogs. The animal-loving music mogul, 48, has a large family as well as a long-term partner, Terri Seymour. But he is reluctant to pass his estimated $200 million to any human loved ones.

He says, “I’ll probably leave the lot to the animals. There’ll be some very rich poodles in Beverly Hills.” Cowell - who fought back from bankruptcy in the 1980s to become one of Britain’s wealthiest men - adds, “If I had made money when I was 21, I’d probably be dead by now. I wouldn’t have made 22. I would have gone crazy.”

Emails are coming in that Fall out Boy’s Pete Wentz bought girlfriend Ashlee Simpson a puppy for Christmas - we’re trying to get confirmation now but with the holidays… ehhhhhhhhhhhhh we won’t hear back soon most likely.
