RUMOR ALERT: Simon Cowell to Leave Fortune to Dogs

American Idol judge Simon Cowell is threatening to leave his multi-million dollar fortune to his pet dogs. The animal-loving music mogul, 48, has a large family as well as a long-term partner, Terri Seymour. But he is reluctant to pass his estimated $200 million to any human loved ones.

He says, “I’ll probably leave the lot to the animals. There’ll be some very rich poodles in Beverly Hills.” Cowell - who fought back from bankruptcy in the 1980s to become one of Britain’s wealthiest men - adds, “If I had made money when I was 21, I’d probably be dead by now. I wouldn’t have made 22. I would have gone crazy.”

Simon Cowell, known for his cutting remarks on American Idol is showing a kinder side by judging a dog show for charity. The very blunt reality TV judge will give his verdict on important categories such as The Waggiest Tail at The Royal Society For The Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals (RSPCA) fete in Brighton, southern England on Sunday.

It is the third year in a row he has attended the bazaar after his mother, who helps out at the local dog shelter, asked for his help. A source says, “Simon is devoted to his mother and when she asked him to help the open day attract more visitors, he did it originally to please her. But he has now become a patron of the shelter.”
