Soap Opera star, Rebecca Budig of All My Children is serious about reaching out to help animals. She’s recorded a PSA for the Zootoo.com campaign “Adoption is the Option”.
Rebecca and her husband, ex-Bachelor Bob Guiney have a lab named Phoebe, but are planning on adopting their next dog and are very excited about it but haven’t decided on exactly what kind they’ll get yet.
Rebecca, a lifelong animal lover, encourages you to adopt a pet from your local shelter or from Zootoo.com.

Bob Guiney, a former bachelor from the ABC reality show The Bachelor, and his wife, former All My children soap star, Rebecca Budig have a new member of the family, a puppy!
Rebecca revealed to Soap Digest that she did a pilot called The Beast for FOX and she played a vet and while the show didn’t get picked up, she fell in love with one of her four-legged co-stars.
It might be a good thing it didn’t get picked up otherwise I probably would have wound up with more animals than you can imagine!
Another tidbit she shared was she and Bob live next door to Greg Rikaart (Kevin from The Young & The Restless) and that their dogs play together.
Unfortunately the article didn’t give a name or a picture of the pooch but we’re on it, we’ve put out a call to her rep!
