It’s with sad news we report after confirming with the Osbourne publicist, following a battle of illness recently, Sharon Osbourne’s beloved Pomeranian, Minnie, has passed away.

More details to follow but our hearts and condolences are with Sharon and her family.

While in Beverly Hills, CA yesterday, Paula Abdul was caught on film by some shutterbugs walking to her car with her dog, Bessie, in hand. She was asked questions about American Idol but she changed the subject and mentioned how her dog’s nails are manicured right before she left in her Land Rover.

According to People, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were married this past Saturday evening in an intimate ceremony with an Alice in Wonderland theme.

Simpson, 23, wore an ivory lace wedding gown by Monique Lhuillier as she and Wentz, 28, exchanged vows in front of 150 guests at her parents’ Los Angeles area home.

Dad Joe Simpson performed the non-denominational ceremony, while sister Jessica served as maid of honor. And guess who played the ring-bearer? Wentz’s English bulldog, Hemingway, that’s who! Are you surprised? We’re not, Pete’s dog is such a big part of his life, it’s fitting
