Singer and songwriter Emerson Hart, who will appear on The Late, Late Show With Craig Ferguson Tues. Aug. 14th, is promoting his first solo release Cigarettes & Gasoline.

Hart is wrapping up the video for the first single If You’re Gonna Leave in Los Angeles, which shows his enthusiastic support of animal adoptions and was partially shot in, and features a few dogs from, a local L.A. animal shelter.

The owner of rescued dogs himself, Hart will run a PSA in support of animal adoptions at the end of the video.

We love it!

We’re not sure why, but he showed up on the uh, err, green carpet with the Target dog.

October 4th, was opening night for Barbra Streisand’s concert tour and the folks who shelled out the dough to see her in Philly were not disappointed according the the reviews I read.
