New mama, Nicole Richie had an unpleasant experience recently with a dog who roamed loose while she was shopping at a Melrose Avenue boutique. Apparently the decided it couldn’t hold it and pissed all over an expensive dress in the store.

Not good!

Nicole was so grossed out, she made a hasty exit out of the store but we’re sure not before paying for her purchases

As for the dog, no word on who it belongs to or why it wasn’t being watched properly.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden’s baby shower showcased The Wizard of Oz theme and this adorable, yummy looking piece of art which was their baby shower cake was a masterpiece, with Dorothy’s little dog, Toto hanging out for the fun.

Wonder which lucky guest got a piece of Toto! Ha!

We haven’t been able to confirm this yet but rumor has it that Nicole Richie is lending her celebrity name to a campaign to save street lights - from the dangers of dog urine.

Richie, who has two dogs - Foxxy Brown and Honeychild - has signed up to promote Swedish inventor Lennart Jarrelbro’s latest creation, dog urinals, to stop the metal on the posts being eroded by the chemicals found in canine waste products.

Her take on it?

They’re so clever. It’s a cute rubber cup attached to the post and a hose to pipe the urine into the gutter.”
