House star Lisa Edelstein is featured on the July issue of Doggie Aficionado magazine!
She’s shown on the cover at home in Los Angeles with Wolf-E and inside with Wolf-E and her newer dog, Shazam!
Both dogs are rescued special needs dogs. Lisa adopted Wolf-E when he was 3 years old and he’s now 18! She must be doing something right, because when she first got him, he had seizures at every emotion, couldn’t stand or walk, had digestive problems and needed eye surgery! Yikes! Wolf-E learned how to walk by watching Lisa’s other (now deceased) dogs, and after gaining confidence grew out of the seizures.
Shazam is her newer dog and was a rescue from Best Friends Animal Society, where Lisa does volunteer work when she has time. Shazam was one of the dogs on “Death Row” at the pound and despite looking like an older dog because of the grey hair in the front, he was just a puppy. Also needing hospitalization for awhile, Shazam is now healthy and happy! Lisa also has a rescued cat named Bug that she adopted at 9 months and is now 18 too!Â
