Kelly Ripa: New Puppy Alert
Update: 8/20: Just got a photo, you can barely see “Chewy’s” face but Kelly is all smiles. Her kids must be THRILLED!
Original Post: 8/10: We just got a tip that Kelly has adopted a shih-tzu from the North Shore Animal League in New York. Word has it, straight from Kelly’s mouth on the show today, they don’t have a name for the dog yet and we’re unsure of the sex just yet.
Just a few weeks ago when Katharine McPhee was on Regis & Kelly and talked about her new dog, Larry, Kelly offered dog-sitting services and admitted her kids wanted a dog. Looks like they got one!

Kelly Ripa’s Dog is Named…
Update 8/20: We just read that this is not the official name of Kelly’s dog but rather the name her three kids call the dog for now. They should keep it, it’s cute! 
CHEWY! And it’s a cute little shih-tzu too - hopefully well have video soon to share.

No clue yet on who the cute pooch belongs to (we’ve put a call out to her reps) but Kelly Ripa obviously couldn’t resist getting a snuggle in. Her husband, Mark Consuelos, accompanied her to the event.

Kelly Ripa, of Regis and Kelly, struck a striking pose with the TARGET mascot, Nikki, also known as Bullseye, at the Dr. Seuss’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” musical Broadway premiere today at the Hilton Theater.
