Paris Hilton  and Kathy Griffin  met at Kitson, the trendy LA boutique to do some filming yesterday, March 25th.

Paris brought her birthday present from her new boyfriend Doug Reinhardt, a tiny Pomeranian puppy to initiate her into the ways of the world!

Comedienne Kathy Griffin can thumb her nose at Hollywood. She can embarrass celebrities. But, apparently, she can’t mess with Jesus.

During the Creative Arts Emmys — those awards for stuff like sound editing and art direction that tape a week before the real Emmys — Griffin won “Outstanding Reality Program” for her “Life on the D-List,” on Bravo.

Unlike many a past winner, she didn’t thank the Lord for her award. Quite the opposite.

“I want you to know that no one had less to do with this award than Jesus,” she told the crowd. “So, all I can say is …” and then, she suggested that Jesus get down and dirty in a way we hope He’s not inclined.

Cue the requisite outrage from Catholic League pres. Bill Donohue, who called the speech a “vulgar, in-your-face brand of hate speech.”

But even with her remarks cut from the show’s broadcast, Griffin was unruffled. At Saturday night’s Entertainment Weekly Party she was all smiles about her award — especially because it meant beating out “Dog Whisperer” Cesar Millan.

He is, in fact, the pack leader,” she told us. “But he had to lay down and give me his belly. No, but seriously I was really excited to meet him because I want to take my dogs on the show. They’re terrible. Yes, I baby them. I reward them for bad behavior just like Hollywood rewarded me.

A friend of Kathy Griffin told Page Six that Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak surprised her by leaving a basket of doggie gifts backstage after her performance in Saratoga, Calif., last month.

“Kathy’s assistant contacted his assistant . . . they thought maybe it was a joke,” dished the insider. “But it was true. He saw her perform and wanted to meet her.” The unlikely pair are now trying to schedule a first date.

Hmmmmmm wonder what the gifts were, a little stuffed iMac doggie toy? A bone shaped like a iPhone? Hahahahaha
