Actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler spoke to People magazine about overcoming her painful eating-disorder. Healthy again, she attributes staying on track by walking her dog as one of her forms of exercise.

I have a wonderful friend who does yoga with me. When I go home to Long Island, my mom and I take the dog and go hiking. It’s nice to be outdoors.”

After eating at Koi yesterday, Jamie couldn’t resist saying hi to this cute pooch and gave it a snuggle.

The Sopranos star Jamie-Lynn Sigler turned to her dog for comfort during her devastating split from husband AJ DiScala in 2005. The 24-year-old actress adopted her Rottweiler-Lab mix Hailey from a shelter two years ago and the pair have become inseparable. She says:

She’s been a great comfort. It’s a different responsibility having a 90-pound Rottweiler in New York City by yourself, but it’s worth it. I never feel alone and always feel protected with Hailey while walking around with her, no one messes with us!”

The actress even takes the dog to The Sopranos set with her, where the pooch gets along with almost everyone - with one notable exception. Sigler adds, “Hailey loves everyone on set except for Edie Falco’s dog, Marley. Let’s just say they don’t get along.”
