Wild child, actress Lindsay Lohan celebrated her 23rd birthday a day early with friends and family at Bardot Lounge in West Hollywood, CA yesterday, July 1, 2009!

Later on, Lindsay headed cross-town to gal-pal Samantha Ronson’s house, where she was greeted by Samantha’s English Bulldog, Cadillac curbside!

Lilo looks like she’s playing with Cadillac, but she apparently had a surge of camera-shyness!

The two were spotted June 29, 2009 filming her “Obsessed” music video in NYC!

The “I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here” contestant and supermodel, Janice Dickinson grabbed some coffee with her beautiful chocolate lab in Malibu yesterday, June 28, 2009. 

Janice, who also recently made an appearance on Animal Planet’s “Groomer Has It” as a guest judge, is a bona-fido dog lover!

Liz Smith reports in her blog that “ Nothing has tormented Janice so much as the worry over her two pooches, left behind in Hollywood while she toils in Costa Rica. She had someone install doggie doors at the back of her Bel Air house so her chocolate Lab and her baby bulldog could wander in and out as they wanted. Then Janice worried that the doggie doors might be too big and allow “tiny burglars” to enter her home, so she had the doors scaled down. Now she is worried the pups are growing too fast and may get stuck! (Hey, Janice, get these dogs their own keys.)”.

Seeeeee??? Janice really IS just like all the rest of us little people!

The “O C ” actress Mischa Barton attended the official  opening of the summer sale at the luxury department store, Harrods in London June 27, 2009 in the Pet Department! 

She’s seen cuddling a pair of Dachshund puppies here.

She apparently is perpetuating a Harrod’s tradition of the owner of the store, Mohammed Al Fayed  placing a puppy on her head  in lieu of a crown. We can only assume this is the case,  since it looks like this tradtion dates back at least to 2007 when Sara Michelle Gellar got the same royal treatment (see below). He was probably scared to put a puppy on Kim Catrall’s head in 2008.

I can’t comment on the selling of puppies in a department store, other than to say it seems odd.

Oh, those crazy luxury department store owners sure know how to have fun, don’t they?
