English Bulldog vs. The Rock in “The Game”
The Game Plan director Andy Fickman got the shots he wanted from one of his leading men on the Westwood film set yesterday. And all it took was a little bacon.
Tubbs, an 8 1/2-year-old English bulldog who plays Spike, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s pet pooch in the Disney flick, had his Game face on…

Kelly Ripa Strikes a Target

Kelly Ripa, of Regis and Kelly, struck a striking pose with the TARGET mascot, Nikki, also known as Bullseye, at the Dr. Seuss’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” musical Broadway premiere today at the Hilton Theater.
Bullseye the Target Dog Gets Waxed
Amazing! This is a crack up. Bullseye, the Target mascot, was immortalized at Madame Tussauds in New York. Lassie and Bullseye are the only two dogs who have been waxed thus far. Hey, if Shiloh can get waxed at birth, why can’t two pretty popular dogs of our times?
The red carpet with the “paparazzi” on hand totally defines the times we live in and can you tell which dog is the real Bullseye? Put your cursor over the pic for the answer.
Hilary Duff and Lola go Video

Electronic Arts announced that Hilary Duff will make her video game debut in The Sims. Through this partnership, Hilary will appear in The Sims 2 Pets games, joined by her beloved Chihuahua Lola, releasing on October 17th. (This is the third dog this week I’ve had to bold as they’re becoming famous in their own rights!)
Here’s what Hilary had to say about it:
“I’ve logged hundreds of hours playing The Sims games, so I jumped at the chance to be in The Sims 2 Pets,” said Sims aficionado Hilary. “I love creating Sims characters and guiding them through life, designing their houses and then blinging them out with cool furniture. Now, in The Sims 2 Pets, EA has combined two things I really enjoy —pets and The Sims!
“Although she’s trying not to let it go to her head, Lola is very excited to make her cameo in The Sims 2 Pets next month!” exclaimed Hilary about her two year old Blue Fawn Teacup Chihuahua, Lola. “We can’t wait to hang at Central Town Park, play with other pups and shop around for the latest pet accessories!”

Gloria Estefan is Back with Another Noelle Book

This is news to me! Gloria Estefan wrote a book last year about her bulldog, Noelle. It’s entitled, “The Magically Mysterious Adventures of Noelle the Bulldog” and it looks *very* cute. Now, after the first book made the New York Times best selling list, Noelle is back again in a second book, “Noelle’s Treasure Tale: A New Magically Mysterious Adventure” and it looks equally as cute. I know my four-year old daughter would enjoy this and I would too. The illustrations by Michael Garland look both endearing and addictive.
P.S. If you’re lucky enough to be in the New York area on the 11th of this month, particularly near the Lincoln Center, stop on by the Barnes and Noble on Broadway, Miss Gloria herself will be there for book signings!
