Would you actually, really and truly MARRY your dog?
I always say to my dog “if I were a DOG, I’d marry you”, but a 29 year old Ghanian woman has taken things even further!
Emily Mabou was so tired of her former boyfriends who were “cheaters” and “skirt-chasers” that she finally found a partner who was kind, loyal, faithful and treats her “with so much respect”……it’s HER DOG!
A priest performed the blissful union between the 29 year-old woman and 18 month old dog (he’s still a PUPPY!!!) in front of curious villagers since the woman’s family boycotted the nuptials, saying it was ” a stupid step to combat her loneliness”.
When asked about starting a family, Emily said “we’ll adopt”.
I guess she figured if she was going to be stuck with a dog, it would be one she’d know where he was at night!
