Legendary actor and humanitarian Richard Gere attended the World Premiere for his new movie “Hachiko: A Dog’s Story” July 8, 2009 at the Marunouci Picadilly Theater in Tokyo, Japan!

Finally! The film is based on the true story of a professor’s strong bond with an abandoned dog he adopts into his home, which has been described as “the true story of faith, devotion and undying love”. Awwww……

The release date for the film is August 8, 2009 in Japan. I can’t wait to see this one! What could be better than Richard Gere AND a sweet dog in one film???
