Barbra Streisand and Sammie Seek Medical Attention?

 

 

Legendary songstress Barbra Streisand and her sweet Samantha were seen June 3, 2009 out and about in Beverly Hills, CA where they visited several medical buildings and a pharmacist with their assistant, who willingly carried Sammie!

Barbra is such a wonderful voice alone, but she’s also been the voice for animal advocacy for many years. Lending her rendition of the song “Smile” to the Humane Society of the United States for their “Kindred Spirits” memorial program which is dedicated to those who have experienced the loss of a pet after she herself lost her beloved dog “Sammy” several years ago.

You can tell how much she adores her dogs though,  throughout the years.  Below, Barbra’s seen in an undated photo  and  the cover of her “Songbird” cd (if you can’t see it, below the name of the cd, it reads “Sorry,  couldn’t find a bird”).

The video brings tears to my eyes; you can see how happy Sammie is to join her mom and the way Barbra cradles Sammie while she walks around the stage….! Enjoy ……
