Beautiful and talented and a humanitarian too!

Alyssa Milano and her chihuahua Gibson grace the cover of the Spring issue of Healthy Pet magazine and are the feature story inside! Also inside the front cover is a pic of Alyssa with her rescued Chi Lucy, who she rescued from a home filled with pitbulls a few years ago!

Alyssa also has another dog; a German Shepherd puppy named Quixie that she got in September of last year after her German Shepherd, Pinto died after 10 years of being Alyssa’s hero, having gotten him when he was 4 years old.

And if you ever wonder if celebs really pay attention to their pets, Alyssa says that Pinto suffered from dysplasia which got really bad the last two years of his life. She says they did everything they could possibly do to alleviate his pain, including going to a veterinary acupuncturist once a week and a weekly chiropractic visit. Now, that’s being in tune with your pet!

Alyssa also has 7 Paso Fino horses and is currently serving as ambassador for UNICEF and Global Network for Neglected Tropical Disease Control and was recently honored with a humanitarian award from the spiritual teacher Sri Chnmoy: the Peace Medititation at the United Nations.
