Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood, and the teenaged light of his life, Ekaterina Ivanova went looking for their love-nest Friday, May 29, 2009…and took their adorable little puppy along with them!
The lovebirds were seen with puppy and a real estate agent and looked at three homes, all in the same area of Southwest London.
The houses were …ahem….substantial, to say the least. Looks like the puppy will have lots of room to run around, whichever one they choose!
With only 5 groomers remaining, not only is the fur flying, but this week had the TEARS flowing!
What an emotional episode all the way around! The Quick Sniff Challenge and the Grooming Challenge were three hanky events!
To start off, little Yorkie and man- of- the -house, Nemo; made his appearance in a yellow rescue worker’s outfit. He was super adorable, complete with a little red cross on his back!
The groomers pretty much figured out that they’d be doing something at an animal shelter and they were right! They wound up at the Los Angeles SPCA shelter to groom dogs that they each chose for themselves. All the groomers seemed very moved seeing such wonderful animals with no homes and people to love them of their own. It has to be really tough living and working in a world of animals who are pampered and adored and then seeing such austere and basic surroundings and such lonelieness and sadness in contrast. Singer/songwriter Ashanti and Cairn Terrier “Nigel” hosted the “There’s No Place Like Home” dog adoption event at the New York Center in NYC May 30, 2009!
Ashanti also posed with one of the dogs for adoption, precious little “Willis”. Awww, I hope he got a great home!
 Twenty-month-old Nigel was spotted by an animal trainer on the Humane Society website and after speaking to shelter personnel, he knew that Nigel had star potential!
Ashanti will be starring as Dorothy and Nigel as (who ELSE?) Toto in the summer production of “The Wiz” which runs from June 12 through July 5, 2009 at the New York Center!
