Wow, have the last couple of years been a box-office bonanza for dog movies or what?
In May of 2007, we reported that the eternally handome Gere would be starring in and producing the touching story of the bond between a college professor and the abandoned dog he takes in, based on a true story. Also starring teen horror movie alumus Sara Roemer, it’s scheduled to be released around August 8, 2009 and is already generating some Oscar buzz for next year!
Sara Roemer is also a dog-lover and has 3 dogs of her own. We look forward to featuring them here soon!
