Butter looks just like my adopted dog, which we could never really tell her breed. We got her from the shelter at about 10 months old, and they guessed she was a terrier. After looking through some breed books, our guess was that she looks like a Basenji. She has the curly tail, yodels and grumbles instead of barks, and has a 'saddle' on her back. The face is exactly like Butter's, only with a bit more gray around the muzzle now that she's 10! Any idea of the breed?
