    Ellen DeGeneres

Ellen DeGeneres is making news with dogs again but not like in the past with the whole Iggy business, this time it’s food for dogs!

Partnering with Halo, DeGeneres announced to Parade that the food (unnamed for now) can even be eaten by humans.

Ours is all human grade. It’s all natural. And yes, you can eat it. People love their animals so much so that they put little clothes on them and necklaces and booties and things like that. And if you love your animal, then you should feed them something that’s not dangerous for them. There’s a lot of poisonous stuff that they’re putting in a lot of that food, those by-products.”

So you know what that makes one think, right? Has Ellen tasted her own product?

I have not tasted it yet. A lot of my people have. I have my people taste it first. I have people tasters. No, my life’s going pretty good. I don’t need to eat it yet.”

So, she’s a person who chronically gives away dogs, and now she’s shilling dog food? I won’t buy it just because it’s her.

Ellen is ridiculous. If she wanted make money she should say so not wrap it in some pseudo caring for animals story. She said she was inspired by Paul Newman, at least his food is honest. It is organic. Not that good, but honest. I am sure Ellen really does care about animals, but she forgot to do her research.
Halo is a horrible company that lies on its labels. They do not make good products. They use preservatives. They put food in a can for dogs? How good could that be? Go ahead Ellen, eat the dog food, drink the Kool-Aid. You already have! I used to respect you, think you were sincere. Never again. Think before you act, oh yes you got paid to promote Halo a totally inferior company, started by a charlatan, and now Ellen.

I’m curious how Foreigner2 knows so much about Halo food and its founder? I’ve never been that impressed with the chow and agree that there are much better, more healthful organic options on the market. That said, ’still remain an Ellen fan.
