Ellen DeGeneres is making news with dogs again but not like in the past with the whole Iggy business, this time it’s food for dogs!
Partnering with Halo, DeGeneres announced to Parade that the food (unnamed for now) can even be eaten by humans.
Ours is all human grade. It’s all natural. And yes, you can eat it. People love their animals so much so that they put little clothes on them and necklaces and booties and things like that. And if you love your animal, then you should feed them something that’s not dangerous for them. There’s a lot of poisonous stuff that they’re putting in a lot of that food, those by-products.”
So you know what that makes one think, right? Has Ellen tasted her own product?
I have not tasted it yet. A lot of my people have. I have my people taste it first. I have people tasters. No, my life’s going pretty good. I don’t need to eat it yet.”
Thanks to CDW reader Amanda, we just got word of The Hills Lauren Conrad and her roommate/BFF Lauren “Lo” Bosworth walking a puppy named Chloe yesterday.
Chloe is a lab/shepherd mix and you can see tons of cute pics HERE.
Update: Lauren said the following about Chloe and it looks like she has a cat too named Ashes:
On Monday, I got a puppy from the pound. She is the cutest puppy ever! Her name is Chloe. She is a lab/shepherd mix. I’m not getting much sleep because she thinks night time is play time. Ashes (my cat) is not thrilled with her, but I think they will become friends.â€
It’s with great pleasure we introduce you to Austin, an 8 month old puggle who lives in Massachusetts. Not too long ago, on the 15th of February, Austin was hit by a car. Acting on adrenaline and in shock he started to run away, finding himself lost in the woods. His owners searched all night for him trying to trace his footsteps in the snow but they had no luck. They searched with flashlights into the night and continued the search the following morning. Unfortunately, with the temperature below freezing and the fact that coyotes run throughout the woods, everyone started to lose hope and figured Austin had perished to either the cold weather or the coyotes. However, after 28 hours outside in the freezing temp, he found his way back home. Turns out he had a broken pelvis and suffered from a hemorrhoid up his side… but none of it stopped him so it seems. He’s as tough as he is cute.
We’re so glad Austin made it back home safe, he’s not only a TOP DOG, he’s a COURAGEOUS dog too!
Your dog can’t email so take heed to the signs and send in his or her photo to topdog@celebritydogwatcher.com!
