Matt Damon was seen yesterday helping daughter Isabella, 18 months, pet the animals at the Molly’s Mutts & Meows and Best Friends Animal Society adoption booth at a West Hollywood park along with wife Luciana.
The family didn’t adopt an animal, but Isabella appeared to enjoy playing with the dogs, a park goer relayed to People.com.
Awwwwwww! Get a puppy, Matt!

Long before celebs used pets as props I got a book about a great love affair between a Yorkie and her girl and their adventures in the city. Tina, The Teeny Tiny Terrier. There was love there and it makes me sad that dogs are mistreated so by these spoiled brats.
While visiting friends in Philadelphia, I ran across an amazingly cute dog (medium size, reddish color, slightly wrinkly face) and its owner told me it was a “Tibetan Shar Pei.” He further said that the Dalai Lama had brought two of these Tibetan Sharpei pups to the U.S. about 2 1/2 years ago, given ont to Matt Damon, and this was the other one. I loved the dog so I googled “Tibetan Shar Pei” when I got home and was disappointed not to discover anything about it. I searched for “Tibetan Shar Pei,” “Dalai Lama dog,” “Matt Damon’s dog” and other terms, but there is apparently nothing written about the Tibetan Shar Pei. I guess that means it was all hooey and it was just some random Shar Pei mix. Bummer. But I must know, just to put this story completely to rest in my mind: what kind of dog does Matt Damon have and has anyone heard of the Tibetan Shar Pei or even of the Dalai Lama bringing puppies to the U.S.?
