Core Club staffers flipped out when Richard Belzer brought his tiny poodle-fox terrier mix, Bebe, as his date to Monday’s dinner and a screening of the surveillance camera flick Look, hosted by the Creative Coalition.
Belzer said of the peaceful pooch,
The manager came over and told me the dog had to leave. He’s harmless, I bring him everywhere with me, and he sleeps with me every night,”
Belzer rescued Bebe in France more than a year ago. The Law & Order star wanted to see Look so badly, director Adam Rifkin offered to miss the screening and walk the dog around the block for the duration. But Belzer made his driver come back early and sit with the pup in the car outside.
