Our sources now tell us (boy those sources sure can be wishy-washy!) that the puppy might belong to his assistant or possibly a make-up artist on the set. We’re still waiting on a call back from his publicist to confirm what’s really going down…

Update: Just got word from Pitt’s publicist - she confirmed the story is indeed NOT true.

However cute it might be to imagine the Jolie-Pitt kids playing with a dog, maybe it’s for the best, at least right now with all of the traveling they do. Can you imagine its little passport?
