Update: 8/20: Just got a photo, you can barely see “Chewy‘s” face but Kelly is all smiles. Her kids must be THRILLED!
Original Post: 8/10: We just got a tip that Kelly has adopted a shih-tzu from the North Shore Animal League in New York. Word has it, straight from Kelly‘s mouth on the show today, they don’t have a name for the dog yet and we’re unsure of the sex just yet.
Just a few weeks ago when Katharine McPhee was on Regis & Kelly and talked about her new dog, Larry, Kelly offered dog-sitting services and admitted her kids wanted a dog. Looks like they got one!

its a girl and the final name is chewie.
My shih tzu’s name is Chewy… and he looks just like hers. Mine is 6 months old, so he is the original chewy
