    Flipping Out - Jeff Lewis

OK I just got hooked on this show last week - I was flipping (no pun intended) through the channels and came upon the scene of Jeff Lewis wigging out over his cat, Monkey, being lost.

We have a cat and it gets “lost” all the time - lost in the house that is. A few cabinet doors opened here and there, a couple of closet doors propped wide and POOF the cat comes out! Hello!

Nevertheless, I couldn’t turn away - the houses were gorgeous and I couldn’t believe the changes he made either (I personally would think about leaving my husband to go and live with Jeff in the Valley Oak house. He could be my gay boyfriend and I could stay in a room in the back of the house - with a lock of course so he wouldn’t chastise me for a stray gum wrapper on the floor).

The fact that he has two dogs, Casey and Oliver, won me over completely so I’m loving it (that’s one of them in the picture - he also has two cats.) His assistants, all three of them interact with him in an incredibly patient and funny way and his business partner, Ryan is a hoot!

Technically, yes, I know, he’s not a celebrity in the sense of what a celebrity is but, hey, there are lot of celebrities with no real celebrity so it fits. (say that ten times)

The show airs on Bravo on Tuesday night, which means you missed last night’s new episode but good news, Bravo has tons of slots for reruns so you can catch up. Last night was particularly good - starting with the $75 massages for his dogs. $75 for EACH dog.

    Gotta love it.

Great summary. I watch this show too and if you get a room in the back of Valley Oak, get twin beds so we can share the room LOL I love Jeff, I’d totally keep my room clean to stay in that house and hang out with him LOL

I’m addicted to this show too. It’s funny it’s catty it’s kinda sad and just to see how he does what he does is intriguing. I need to catch up though, I’ve only seen two of the episodes. Does anyone know how many shows there are?

Jeff also supports animal shelters and dog rescue.

See here for his renovation of an animal shelter http://video.bravotv.com/player/?id=136520

Wow Sue that’s great! Thanks for the link. It looks like Jenni loves pugs, did you see her little pug purse? lmao at first I thought it was a real dog somehow flopping along the side of her. She left a comment on here too about Valentino - she said pugs rule, now I know why ;)

Jeff is so wonderful. I love him. To me, he is drop-dead gorgeous! Gay or Not….I don’t care!
I am in awe of him. He has an outstanding sense of style and really cares about everything. Including his staff. Jenni is fabulous and beautiful. Chris is nice, but a little goofy. Ryan, Zoila and Bowman are wondeful and very lucky to be around Jeff and cater to his needs. He is demanding, but he IS the boss and Life is short!
He loves his animals so much and it is so sweet!
He found the smaller dog “Oliver” abandoned in the park and took him home…..Forever.
It is a great show and I enjoy every minute of it!
