Verne and his love of bulldogs is the focus of the July 23rd issue of In Touch for the Stars and Their Pets column shot by Christopher Ameruoso. He adopted the dogs two years ago and joked:

Bulldogs are like little people. They’re the dwarves of the dog world because they have short legs and big heads and tend to be a little chubby.
