Animal Fair editor Wendy Diamond inadvertently offended Dina Lohan and her daughter Ali when she made a joking announcement at last week’s Paws for Style event.

Diamond, irked that the Lohans were no-shows, cracked that the clan’s dog, Chloe, “was sent to rehab after overdosing on Frontline.” What Diamond didn’t know was that the Lohans didn’t make the event because they were visiting Lindsay at Promises rehab in Malibu. In an attempt to make good, Diamond wrote Dina a rambling apology asking forgiveness.

We’re guessing all will be forgiven if the Lohans walk the “RuffWay” next year.
