Anne Hathaway‘s Italian beau, real-estate developer Raffaello Follieri, is accused of misusing funds from a $55.6 million joint venture with supermarket magnate Ron Burkle and lavishing her with his corporate perks.
Burkle is suing Follieri, claiming his firm charged at least $1.3 million in “improper” expenses that funded a lavish lifestyle.
“The improper personal expenses included, among other things, excessive and inappropriate private jet travel for Follieri, his actress girlfriend and their chocolate lab, Esmeralda,” said the lawsuit filed in a Delaware state court.
