Rumor Alert: Oprah’s Dog, Sophie has Passed Away

We’re getting numerous emails from people today asking if Oprah‘s dog, Sophie passed away from kidney failure.

We’ve put in a call to her office but no comment yet. We’ll update this later if we get a response. We sure hope this is just a rumor and not truth.

Angie March 20, 2008 at 7:22 pm: It is official. Sophie has died from kidney failure. My heart goes out to Oprah. I have 2 black cockers. One of them looks just like Sophie did. With his little white hair under his chin. Bless Sophie’s heart. Sophie will at least be able to join Gracie in doggie heaven.
