Some of you have emailed me asking how Zoe is doing and I thought it would be nice to update the pics on both Labs, Zoe our new puppy and Zephyr, our almost five-year old.

Zoe is 4.5 months now and on most days, I’m madly in love with her. Other days, it’s a good thing she’s so cute or I’d be tempted to go back to having ONE dog again. Just kidding! She’s in that puppy stage where she’s gnawing on everything, jumping and just basically a wild blur but she’s also really smart. Knows all the commands we taught her (sit, lay, stay, drop -as in drop the ball) and she can catch Frisbees already! She’s a champion fetcher too. I once threw a stick that was on our deck down to the bottom portion of our yard (about 100 feet below) and she took off after it, don’t ask me how, but she brought that exact stick back to me! She’s amazing and don’t tell her what I said about that one dog thing, she’d be devastated and so would Zeph :)

Speaking of Zeph, I think most of the day he views her as an annoying little sister. I have to separate the two just so Zeph can get a breather but he’s very good with her, very patient, in fact, I worry more about him than her, she’s rough and tumble all day long but we are really enjoying her and I’m happy to say that I’m the leader of the pack 99% of the time ;)
