The Nevada Ballet Theater group named Paula Abdul as their 2007 “Woman of the Year” for her achievements in dance and choreography.

A representative for the Ballet said that the “Straight Up Now Tell Me” star, who is now a popular judge on “American Idol”, was chosen for her “warm personality and talent that have touched every aspect of the arts and entertainment world. Paula exemplifies the qualities we look for in an honoree.”

It looks like Paula had a cute little furry friend with her at the award show but no word yet on where the cute pup came from. I wonder if it was hers, if it is, she sure has her hands full with puppies. Just the other evening she was lovin’ on a different pooch.

They always auction off a puppy (this time they had two puppies a black and a white one). Last year Paula bought one and named it charity. It’s a teacup yorkie and I wondered if she still had it because she never mentions her but at a chat for QVC she said she still does. No idea who bought these puppies. Not Paula apparently!
