Rocker Sheryl Crow, considered leaving new pet Labrador, Rex, behind when she toured this year because she feared the pooch would devour her designer shoe collection and she’d have to take to the stage barefooted.

It was big dilemma for Crow - because her late Labrador, Scout, whom she had for a decade, always accompanied her when she toured.

She said:

I used to bring my yellow Labrador with me, but he passed away… He went on tour and every tour bus but Rex is prone to eat anything, so I don’t know if he’s going to make this tour. I have too many nice shoes.”
