Witnesses to the event included the dogs of her good friends. After leaving their paw prints on the official marriage certificate, the newly wedded pooches posed for photographs in their respective wedding outfits. Bernice merrily commented:

There is just one year separating their birthdays… my views (on marriage) are very traditional, so I felt that they should get married before they start to mate.”

As well as receiving lucky packets from their adoptive mother, Bernice, she has also bought them diamante collars as a wedding gift.
