In light of Pam’s missing Chihuahua, Luca, we decided to make a large post about Pamela and the love she has for her dogs, Star (her Golden Retriever) and Luca.

In the summer of 2005, Pamela Anderson turned her beloved Chihuahua, Luca, into a cover model by posing with him on the front of dog lovers’ magazine Modern Dog in the summer of 2005.

Luca Pizzaroni Pasquini, named after one of the model/actress’ favorite photographers and her choice of coffee machines, nestles in Anderson’s arms for his close up.

In the accompanying article, the former Baywatch babe reveals she’s a doting mum to her little dog - because she’s constantly worried he’ll be dragged off by a big bird.

She explains, “I’m afraid a bird might swoop down and pick him up.

“I once rescued a Maltese that was abducted by an owl - he slipped out of his collar and fell who knows how far. I found him on the side of the road, limping and a mess.”

She also admits she’s a sucker for rescue pooches and spends a lot of time finding homes for strays among her celebrity pals.

She says, “I’ve rescued small dogs before. I brought a friend to rescue a dog at Pug Rescue (a Los Angeles shelter) and I see this dog that had a hernia and one eye missing.

“It ended up my friend didn’t get a dog, but I rescued Foo. Now Foo lives with Natalie Raitano” (Anderson’s former V.I.P co-star).

She also talked about her Golden Retriever, Star and said she will be devastated when he dies because the pampered pooch has been a constant companion for the actress/model as she navigated fame.

The pooch has been with Pam for 15 years and she hopes his healthy lifestyle will help him fight off illness and death for many years to come.

She told Modern Dog, “Star’s like a person; he’s my partner in crime. He’s been with me longer than anybody… I can see how long I’ve been in LA and Hollywood when I look at Star.

“I look at Star and I can see my whole life pass before me. I can remember when he was three months, six months… and whatever I was doing in my career I can kind of judge from the pictures and the memories that I have with Star.

“He’s old for a big dog but he’s very healthy, he’s like a puppy. He has a great spirit and he’s in the water every day, he’s on the beach as much as possible. I think that’s what keeps him young.”

Did you know Pam had a wedding for her dogs last summer?

Pamela Anderson, a spokesperson of PETA was the witness to a wedding in August, when her Golden Retriever, Star, tied the knot with her Chihuahua, Luca Pizzaroni Pasquini. It’s the first wedding for both. (hahaha) Anderson carried the groom, Luca, to the altar, while the blushing Star was led up on a lead by ex, surfer Kelly Slater.

The bow-wow vows were not witnessed by any other four-legged friends. Afterwards, Anderson took her pups and joined some friends for drinks in the sun to celebrate.
