Alyssa Milano, adopted a Chihuahua in 2003 after watching the pooch get savaged by four pitbulls.
The animal lover couldn’t bear to watch the little dog suffer, and walked up to its owner’s front door and asked if the dog was for sale.
She said, “Lucy lived with four Pitbulls and they were having their way with her and I walked by the front yard and I rang the doorbell and the guy said, ‘I’m actually trying to place her.’”
Milano admits the little dog she has named, Lucy, after Lucille Ball, has changed her life.
She added, “She’s like my best friend ever.”
You can see Lucy in action by watching the YouTube video below. Alyssa went on the Ellen Degeneres show in October 2004 for a Halloween show as Princess Leia and brought Lucy on the show who was in costume as Yoda lol it’s hilarious and Lucy is adorable.
