Out with a solo album and climbing up the charts, Black Eyed Peas star, Fergie’s efforts to bond with her pet dogs once prompted cops to turn up outside the Hollywood home she shares with actor boyfriend Josh Dumal, convinced a woman was being attacked.

The London Bridge singer spent 30 minutes howling with her beloved pooches after returning home from a trip to Europe and neighbours feared she was being attacked and called in the police.

Boyfriend Duhamel recalls, “She’s a pretty good singer and she does this thing where her voice goes up, way up, like, super high. Fergie and her dogs are out on the porch and half an hour later she walks out to her car to get something and there’s a cop with a shotgun creeping up to the house.

“Somebody had called the cops saying that somebody was being attacked at my house… I had a cop with a shotgun outside my house in the middle of the day. It’s never boring when she’s around.”
